Why Visit the National Museum of Military Vehicles?
Nestled in the scenic heart of Wyoming, just a short drive from Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park, you’ll find an unexpected treasure: the National Museum of Military Vehicles, home to our country’s largest private collection of military vehicles and a premier destination for military history.
More than just a museum, it’s a tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country, past and present. Through three major galleries filled with immersive exhibits, we bring their stories to life—focusing on pivotal moments from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Spanning 160,000 square feet, the museum proudly showcases hundreds of fully restored military vehicles. In addition, you’ll find a rare and historically significant firearms collection, including the musket that fired the first shot at the Revolutionary War’s Battle of Bunker Hill.
This is not just a place to explore military history—it’s a place to honor the sacrifices that have shaped American freedom. Here, history comes alive, and the spirit of freedom is celebrated.
