Please join us Wednesday, September 30, from 6:00–7:35 p.m. for a free preview screening of “Crossing the Threshold”, a new Wyoming-made documentary exploring veterans’ experiences of service, homecoming and the transition to civilian life. The film follows veterans from across Wyoming as they reflect on who they were when they enlisted, who they were when they returned, and the experiences they continue to carry with them. The evening will feature a 25-minute excerpt from the film, followed by a community conversation and Q&A with members of the filmmaking team, veteran participants and local veterans. The statewide excerpt screening tour is supported by the Wyoming 250th Committee, Creative Forces and the Wyoming Council for Women, with the Dubois program hosted in partnership with the National Museum of Military Vehicles and the Dubois Branch of the Fremont County Library System. Veterans, military families and members of the community are encouraged to attend and share the invitation with others.

Patriot Express Honor Trips is a nonprofit program that provides all-expenses-paid trips for veterans and first responders, offering them a day of connection, reflection, and recognition. Centered around visits to the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois, Wyoming, the experience is designed not just as a tour, but as a way to build camaraderie, share stories, and support mental and emotional well-being among participants.
