Free Admission for Military Families

The National Museum of Military Vehicles is proud to participate in Blue Star Museums, offering free admission to currently serving U.S. military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day, May 16, through Labor Day, September 7, 2026.

Honoring Service. Welcoming Families.

Located near Dubois, Wyoming, the National Museum of Military Vehicles honors the service and sacrifice of veterans and their families, educates visitors on the history of American freedom, and preserves historic military vehicles and artifacts.

Blue Star Museum benefit:
Free admission is available to currently serving U.S. military personnel and up to five family members during the 2026 Blue Star Museums season.

The museum offers an immersive, world-class experience with fully restored military vehicles, powerful galleries, historic artifacts, and stories that connect visitors with America’s military history.

Who Is Eligible?

  • Currently serving U.S. military personnel
  • Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard
  • Reserves and National Guard
  • U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps
  • NOAA Commissioned Corps
  • Up to five family members

Qualified members should present a CAC, DD Form 1173 ID card, DD Form 1173-1 ID card, or Next Generation Uniformed Services ID card.

Beginning May 20, the museum is open daily through the end of September, except July 4.

Regular museum admission covers two consecutive days, giving guests more time to experience the galleries and exhibits.
