Job Description for Guest Services Representative
Reports to: Guest Services Supervisor
Job Location: Dubois, Wyoming
Purpose:
Greet and assist guests as they arrive at the museum, with additional duties including selling and collecting admission tickets and gift shop merchandise, operating Point of Sale (POS) equipment, and directing guests to museum galleries and common areas. This role requires knowledge of guest service principles and practices, including assessing guest needs, meeting quality service standards, and evaluating guest satisfaction to ensure a professional and welcoming experience.
Job Requirements
• Greet guests visiting the museum or attending entertainment events
• Operate POS system at Guest Services Desk
• Facilitate admission sales and verify entry credentials for guests.
• Manage the collection of admission tickets and visitor passes.
• Walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Sell and collect admission tickets and passes from guests
• Direct guests to galleries, theater, restrooms, gift shop, and other facilities on campus
• Provide information of museum to guests based on the script per supervisor.
• Follow directions of supervisor
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure adherence to Employee and Guest Services Handbook.
• Provide assistance with guests’ needs
• Stock and aid in gift shop inventory
• Conduct light housekeeping such as restocking restrooms, emptying trash cans, light dusting and vacuuming

The Canteen - Cashier
Cashier/Customer Service:
We are searching for a friendly and professional cashier to provide guests a superior service in our museum’s fast casual restaurant.
Employees will use cash registers and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers. Additional responsibilities include processing, packaging and delivering food orders, and cleaning and sanitizing public spaces as required.
Essential Functions:

Greeting customers

Accepting payments in the form of cash, credit or debit cards

Brewing coffee

Serving ice cream

Assisting customers with questions regarding the food or museum

Ensuring accurate transactions by balancing cash register at beginning and end of shift

Ensuring food is prepared correctly

Processing returns and exchanges according to policy

Restocking items

Cleaning and sanitizing
Other Functions:

Working as a busser as needed

Assisting with catered meals in museum conference area

Taking out trash and recycling throughout service

Cleaning restaurant at the beginning and end of each service, including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping

Assisting with other restaurant tasks as required

The Canteen - Line Cook
Line Cook
We are searching for a Line Cook to assist kitchen staff in preparing and cooking fast casual food in a museum restaurant and catering kitchen.
Essential Functions:
-
Preparing, cooking and presenting food to order following established NMMV brand standards, guidelines and recipe specifications
-
Following correct prepping procedures, utilizing prep charts, properly storing and rotating perishable stock
-
Maintaining proper food temperatures in accordance with NMMV’s brand standards and federal, state and local regulations
-
Preparing special orders as requested
-
Maintaining stock to shift par levels
-
Organizing and maintaining work areas, storage areas and coolers
-
Assisting as needed with deliveries and product inventory
-
Cleaning and taking proper care of ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils and other equipment
-
Adhering to all food safe handling principles
-
Completing side work and deep cleaning assignments correctly and timeously
-
Possessing strong product and menu knowledge
-
Monitoring waste and other food cost controls
-
Addressing concerns and complaints promptly and in a courteous manner and notifying the Supervisor of any issues
-
Assisting other kitchen staff, including Cashiers and Dishwashers, periodically
-
Adhering to NMMV’s brand standards and internal policies and procedures
-
Providing prompt and courteous service and being cordial to all team members and guests

Assisting as needed with private and catered functions
