Named in honor of one America\u2019s most iconic Generals, the\u00a0General George S. Patton Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0Gallery exhibits examples of America\u2019s first motor vehicles. World War I\u00a0 era vehicles, such as a U.S. M1917 tank, a U.S. Liberty Truck, and a Model T ambulance are displayed. World War I era artillery pieces can also be seen.\u00a0 General Patton\u2019s own role in developing America\u2019s first motorized vehicle doctrines among other achievements are remembered here.<\/p>\n Rotating exhibits and ever changing artifacts are also found in the\u00a0Patton Gallery<\/strong>,\u00a0continually surprising return visitors.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Liberation Wall<\/strong>\u00a0highlights how the United States military has liberated more than 475 million people from foreign occupation and oppression, restoring those peoples rights of self-determination.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the gallery is the Museum\u2019s Share Your Thoughts<\/strong>\u00a0area.
